I’ll be honest, the bag felt stiff for the first couple of weeks. But once you break it in, it softens up really nicely and feels much more comfortable to carry. The little scratches don’t bother me anymore either because they kind of blend in and add character as you use it

I got this bag a few weeks back the stitching is really good. I haven’t noticed any loose threads yet, and the seams feel sturdy. There was one tiny spot that looked a little uneven, but it’s not a big deal to me. Overall, it feels like it’ll hold up well. I’d give it 4 stars

Really impressed with the hardware on my Saddleback bag. Buckles, clips, and rivets feel super sturdy, like they’re built to last forever. Nothing feels cheap or loose at all. Only reason for 4 stars is that some of the metal pieces are heavy, so the bag gets weighty fast once it’s packed. Still really happy with it overall.

This definitely isn’t the cheapest bag I’ve ever bought, but it feels like one that’ll last me for years, which is kind of the point. The leather is thick, the stitching looks solid, and it showed up in good shape. I mean, if you want something decent that won’t fall apart quickly, it makes sense that it costs a bit more. For what you’re getting, the price feels fair to me.

I’ve had my Saddleback bag for a little over a year now, and it’s kind of funny looking back at how stiff it was when I first got it. At the time, I remember wondering if it was ever going to loosen up, because the leather felt really tough and took a while to break in. But after carrying it around, tossing it in the car, taking it to work, and just using it day to day, it’s really started to develop its own character. The scratches and darker spots are showing up now, but they actually make it look better, like the bag has been places with me. It still feels incredibly solid, and the patina is turning out really nice. I’m giving it 4 stars only because of how stiff it was in the beginning, but it looks better the more I use it

I had already checked a bunch of other places and was getting annoyed because nobody seemed to have the bag I wanted. Saddleback Leather actually had it in stock, which was a relief. Their site was easy to use too, especially for checking which colors were available. I still don’t love having to hunt around like that, but at least I didn’t have to sit there wondering if it would ever come back.

The leather feels really nice and seems like good quality. That said, the color looked different in person than it did online. Obviously screens can make colors look a little different, but it was still not quite what I expected.

I haven’t had a chance to really use it yet, so I can’t speak to performance, but the warranty seems solid. That definitely gives me a bit more confidence in the purchase

It looks amazing, way better than I expected. It has this old-school vibe in the best possible way, and I’m kind of ridiculously excited about it. Like, why does something looking slightly retro make me this happy? Love it.

I blame the real leather for making me like this so much. It feels legit, not that fake plasticky stuff, and it’s already starting to age really nicely.

Overall, the site did a decent job showing the bags, and most of the details matched what I received. The only thing is the colors looked a bit different in person, and I wish the sizing info had been a little clearer. Not a bad experience at all 🙂 I just expected the photos to be a bit more accurate

I picked up my Saddleback bag mostly for work, i’m sure it’s been a great choice. It fits my laptop, charger, notebook, water bottle, and all the random little stuff I end up carrying without feeling packed to the brim. The pockets are simple, but they actually make sense, which I really like. I wasn’t totally sure how much it would hold at first, but it’s handled more than I expected. Easy 5 stars from me.

I’ve been using this strap every day and, shockingly, it’s actually held up with zero issues. It feels thick and strong, which is nice because apparently that’s not something you can always count on.

The bag itself feels solid and the leather seems like good quality, no real complaints there. But man, the smell at first was rough. I get that real leather has a smell, that’s expected, but this was way stronger than I thought it would be. I literally had to keep it in another room for a couple weeks because it was just too much. It’s finally starting to calm down now, so it’s not a huge deal anymore, but I do wish it wasn’t so intense right out of the box
